We know that, solidwaste in everywhere. In front of house, in school, and in the river. For example Gembong river. Arround the Gembong river area, often flood. Why? One of cause is many people throw solidwaste to the river so it can disturb the flow of water.
Basicly each person produce solidwaste, not except all of us. For example if we buy snack in the canteen, the cover of snack become garbage. When we are doing some task, and wrong, then the paper become rubbish. It also if we drink mineral water, the bottle or the glass become rubbish too. So we can estimate in one day every person produce approximately 1 litre solidwaste.
Can you imagine how many solidwaste produced in a city? It is many isn’t it? If not handling well it will cause terrible problem for that city. We must paticipate to handle solidwaste well and right. Because if we not handle solidwaste, then it can out of control. It can make uncomfortable.
How to handle solidwaste? These are steps to handling solidwaste :
1. Don’t throw solidwaste in everywhere. Because it can make bad scenery and it cause disesase source.
2. Separate solidwaste which can sell (plastic, paper, can) with organic solidwaste (leaves, foodwaste). It can make handling solidwaste easier.
3. If we shopping or go to the market, don’t forget to bring bag. It can decrease plastic waste because plastic non biodegradable.
4. We can also recycle solidwaste become useful goods. For example leaves and foodwaste become organic fertilizer. Organic fertilizer useful for flourishing and decrease usage chemical fertilizer.
5. Don’t burn solidwaste. Because it can make air pollution which can cause disturbance our respiratory and increase green house effect.
Those steps above usually called 3R. What is 3R? 3R is re-duce, re-use, and re-cycle. Benefit from 3R is :
1. Environment can be healty and clean.
2. Increase aesthetic.
